Last month we discussed the implementation of Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) in the contiguous United States (CONUS). This month we explore ADS-B implementation in Europe. ADS-B makes use of a GNSS-derived position, currently from GPS, but in the future potentially from GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and/or others.
